Snowshoe refers to a breed in KittyCatS that has a real-life counterpart by the same name. Snowshoes were present in the beginning of KittyCatS at launch.

Real-Life Snowshoe Breed History & Temperament[]
"In the 1960s, a cat owned by a Siamese cat breeder produced a litter of Siamese kittens in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Three of the kittens had unique markings, consisting of white points and feet. Intrigued by their looks, she began working to breed cats like them, using seal point Siamese with bi-color American Shorthairs. The offspring of those cats lacked the Siamese points, but by breeding the offspring to Siamese cats, the desired look was accomplished. She named the breed 'Snowshoe' because of their white feet."
"The Snowshoe personality is as unique as their appearance and is never boring. The personality is a complicated mix of mystical aloofness along with a slight dash of 'normal' cat. Generally a 'talker' with a soft, melodic voice, all Snowshoes are inquisitive and active, offering many hours of delightful entertainment and a cat's lifetime of affectionate companionship. Most Snowshoes form a primary bond with their chosen person while still maintaining friendship with other people."
